Alex Dauphin (she/her) is a Haitian-American actor, director and storyteller passionate about nuancing perspectives and emboldening empathy through the arts. A bit of a nomad, you can usually find Alex in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, or backpacking on the Appalachian Trail. Television credits include Ordinary Joe (NBC), Dynasty (The CW), MacGyver (FOX), Long Slow Exhale (BET), and Chicago Med (NBC). Recent theatre credits include Wife of a Salesman (Assistant Director, Writers Theatre), Seize the King (Alliance Theatre), A Christmas Carol and The Wolves (TheatreSquared), The Light (The New Colony), and Clearing (Commission Theatre). Filmmaking projects include documentary short My Black and Black Stories Project docuseries That is Racism. Alex holds a B.A. in Politics and African American Studies from Princeton University and is a board member of the Association of Black Princeton Alumni. Alex is represented by Houghton Talent (ATL), Shirley Hamilton Talent (CHI), and Actors Casting Agency (NWA).
