About Jessica

• Jessica Fisch (she/her) is a freelance director, educator, and creator based in Chicago. She is dedicated to the creation of new plays, original content and bold reinterpretations of classic texts. She has had the privilege of working on and developing work across the country with companies such as Actors Theatre of Louisville, Playwrights Horizons, Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Victory Gardens, Writers Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Drury Lane Theatre, Playwrights’ Center Minneapolis, Playwrights Realm NYC, Public Theater’s Emerging Writer’s Group, and Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngbloods, among many more. Recent credits: Beautiful (Marriott Theatre), Athena (Writers Theatre), Murder on the Orient Express, And Then There Were None (Drury Lane Theatre), Every Brilliant Thing (Windy City Playhouse), Dear Jack Dear Louise, Cry It Out (Northlight Theatre),  I Wanna F*#%ing Tear You Apart (Rivendell Theatre Ensemble), You Across From Me (Humana Festival), Straight White Men (Assoc Dir, Steppenwolf Theatre). In addition to her theatre work, Jessica is the co-writer and director of the original scripted podcast series Two Truths and a Lie which is in development with creative producers Temple Hill Entertainment. Jessica received her MFA in Directing from Northwestern University.
